Agartala, January 08, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha was showered with heartfelt birthday wishes and grand celebrations across the state on his special day. The Chief Minister began his day with prayers at the Lakshmi Narayan Bari and Kali Temple at Melarmath, seeking blessings for prosperity and well-being.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm greetings through a tweet, stating, “I extend my best wishes to the hardworking Chief Minister of Tripura Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on his birthday. He has endeared himself to the people of Tripura for his humble and hardworking nature. His focus on the all-round development of the state has yielded great results. I pray for his long and healthy life.”*

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his regards, acknowledging Dr. Saha’s commitment to Tripura’s progress. “His dedication is instrumental in fulfilling the vision of development for the state. I pray for his long and healthy life,” Shah remarked. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh joined in, sending his wishes for good health and success.

Leaders across the nation, including Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, extended their greetings. Sarma highlighted Dr. Saha’s inspiring contributions to the people of Tripura, while Union Minister Kiren Rijiju praised his leadership and dedication.

Tripura leaders such as MP Biplab Kumar Deb, former Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik, and several state ministers also conveyed their best wishes. BJP karyakartas organized diverse programs, including a blood donation festival at the GB Hospital Blood Bank, where over 70 people voluntarily donated blood under the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s initiative.

In the 8-Town Bardowali area, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan programs were conducted at temples, and Corporator Ratna Dutta distributed winter clothes and blankets to the needy. A mega blood donation camp by health department employees at the Agartala Government Nursing College Auditorium also marked the occasion, with participation from nursing students and health workers.

Statewide, party workers, and citizens celebrated the Chief Minister’s birthday with enthusiasm, reflecting his enduring popularity and the collective aspirations for Tripura’s continued growth under his leadership.
