Sanya Malhotra Discloses Whether She Intends to Become a Wife in the Near Future and Discusses Her Hollywood Aspirations

Next week, Bollywood actor Sanya Malhotra will showcase her versatility onscreen when she debuts on OTT in the role of Mrs. Aarti Kadav has directed the film, which is set to be released digitally on February 7. It recounts the narrative of a dance teacher and professional dancer whose life undergoes a complete 180-degree transformation upon her marriage. Sanya was awarded the Best Actress award at the 2024 New York Indian Film Festival for her exceptional performance in Mrs., despite her personal life as a “miss.” Sanya was inquired as to whether she has any intentions of becoming a wife in the near future prior to the film’s release.

On January 28, Sanya Malhotra arrived at the HT City office for the Stars In the City event. Sanya responded, “I don’t have the time to,” when asked if she would be taking on the title role of Mrs. in real life in the near future. Sanya was then asked if “strings” were playing in her head when she was posed the question about marriage, in an attempt to link up rumors with viral sitarist Rishab Rikhiram Sharma. After hearing this, Sanya expressed her disagreement, stating, “No, no.” I am actually quite preoccupied with my professional responsibilities. The time is not on my side; I am running out of time (laughing).

Sanya was also inquired about her Hollywood aspirations during the conversation with HT City. “I have no plans,” the actor disclosed. I have only one intention: to take some time off from work and visit a seashore for a vacation. No, it is not ubiquitous. However, with this film, we were able to expand our reach worldwide, and as I previously mentioned, I was honored with an award in New York (blushes). She continued, “However, there are no plans at this time.” However, as previously mentioned, I am inherently drawn to compelling narratives and well-crafted scripts. If you are not able to do so, you will be punished.
